ninimo
PHP, SocialEngine modifications, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Hobo, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, Memcache, Facebook Login, Facebook App Development, PayPal and other payment processors integration, Git + GitHub, MVC, Scrum, Unit Testing, Automated Functional and Integrational Testing
After finishing an earlier project (including lots of bug fixing and filling in missing pieces of
documentation) of the company to go live with a SocialEngine (PHP social network
engine) based site, we spent 2 months learning Ruby on Rails.
Ninimo was an attempt to leverage Facebook users, providing simple and funny applications with
minimal usability and lots of in-app purchases.
Behaviour-driven development was not just a buzzword here, as we never pushed anything live, until
code coverage of the tests were at least 85%. This project was my first to work with commercial grade
PaaS providers and CDNs like Heroku or Amazon S3.

Thematic video-sharing and social network site
1M unique hits daily, 200k member base and growing
This job in the adult content industry meant my first leap in the world of cluster/cloud based
development and hosting. The client's clusters were located world-wide, built up from Apache-PHP, MySQL
replication, CDN and memcached nodes.
My roles in this project were multi-aspect. While mainly developing site and site admin features like
video- and user content tagging, integrating 3rd party data sources and online-payment solutions,
I also took time to develop CLI Linux tools to ensure adhering to internal coding standards and Windows
apps to provide easier mass uploading funcionality to the content management team.

fixing up the then buggy integration of Smarty in Kohana. Also developed various social networking
modules.

iglue
JavaScript, Ext.JS, ActionScript 3, XHTML, CSS
iGlue is a "true" web-two-dot-o startup, trying to re-index and re-invent the world of searching and
information-mining. Base project's goal was to annotate the whole web on-demand, using the iGlue
semantic database, approximating if the string, e.g. "Kennedy" means an airport or a president in
a given context.
My work concentrated on front-end development using Ext.js and 3rd party sites like Google Maps and
YouTube, later moving on the Javascript part to an ActionScript/Flash - HTML hybrid solution to
overcome limitations at that time of both technologies. Also I built tools to run free-text
interpreters on raw sources collected from Wikipedia on our cluster.

deathstar
PHP, CodeIgniter Framework, MySQL, XHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, MVC, SVN
CRM and generic call center controller solution developed on request of a major telecommunications
company. Some 80 operators had their workstations in each installation (3 up and running at the end of
2007), working through browser-based interfaces, having calls sorted out with server-controlled PBXes
- this was my very first commercial-grade software, and as such it performed well enough. Whole
software designed, developed and upgraded later by me, except some 3rd party PBX drivers.
